FoodWorks Charters Towers


After ten years of owning a Supermarket business and with the next five year lease coming up for
renewal, we made the family decision to sell, so that our family members could move back to the
land.
We had spoken to our local real estate agents, but felt we needed an expert in the field of retail
sales.
Fortunately, we came across Dione Mauric from Advantage Business Sales and Valuations. Dione
walked us through the selling process in a very friendly but business-like manner. Her advice was
that the supermarket, if priced appropriately, would sell locally and within six months. We had our
doubts but we were prepared to back her advice. Both came to fruition – we sold locally and a
Contract of Sale was signed within the six months.
The selling process has gone through smoothly, we do appreciate that the business has been sold timely without any hitches.
